Vietnam Veterans Memorial Damaged by Bomb Blast

We unfortunately are now to the point where explosive devices are being placed next to crosses.

This weekend, someone detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) next to the Coos Bay Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

The memorial, which sits in a public park in Coos Bay, Oregon, and includes a cross, recently became a target of the ACLU and the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation, which demanded the cross be removed because it violates the so-called “separation of church and state.”

The city retained Liberty Institute to conduct an investigation and make a report and recommendation regarding the constitutionality of the memorial, which was presented to the City Council in executive session in May.

Around that time, someone vandalized the memorial, drawing a perforation line at the base of the memorial’s cross with the word “cut” written above it and an arrow pointing to the line. The word “remove” was written in the middle of the cross.

Now, an opponent of the memorial escalated things to a new level.

The memorial sits next to a children’s playground area.  Fortunately, in this case, no one was hurt, and the memorial only suffered superficial damage.  But, what will happen next? How far will the hostility go?”

What the hell is wrong with these idiots?  According to the Bill of Rights, a part of The Constitution of the United States of America, ALL Americans have the right to believe/worship in God or not.  ALL Americans have the right to believe in a religion or not.  Since too many are so stupid, ill-bred and disrespectful towards others let me explain that to you.  I have the right to believe in God or not.  You have the right to believe in God or not.  I do not have a right to disrespect your beliefs.  YOU DO NOT have the right to disrespect my beliefs or those of any other Americans.
ACLU and Freedom From Religion Foundation, atheists and all others.  You DO NOT have the right to commit your hate crimes against others in this country.  You have NO say in how the rest of Americans respect and honor our ancestors, loved ones and military.  Too many American troops died for your freedoms.  But guess what?  They are also my freedoms.  How dare you trample on my freedoms.  No body is forcing you to participate in any religious action.  No body is forcing you to even look at a cross.
The First Amendment:  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
This means you are free from the Government establishing a religion and forcing you to obey/worship it.
In 1802 Thomas Jefferson coined the phrase “wall of separation between Church and State”.
In 1947 the Supreme Court affirmed the separation between Church and State.  That means that the government cannot interfere. All those countless, frivolous lawsuits demanding freedom from religion were baseless and illegal.
Civil liberties has nothing to do with religious liberties.  Why is there even a Freedom From Religion Foundation when the First Amendment already guarantees you that exact freedom?
In 1894 churches were given their tax exempt status by the Federal Government.  IF that is what really bothers you, then take it up with the Federal Government.  DO NOT TREAD ON ME as far as my rights and the rights of other Americans.
You’d best be opening your eyes to the fact that Sharia Law is already here in some areas and courts in the United States of America.  Your voice will be silenced forever once you are beheaded for not believing in Muslim/Islamic way of life.  Perhaps your time would best be spent trying to eradicate that monster instead of spreading your hatred towards your fellow Americans.
Because I am an American.  Because of The Constitution of the United States of America.  Because of the First Amendment in The Bill of Rights.  I am able, proud and allowed to say:
God bless America.
